Repro Justice Congo (RJC) is a feminist, inclusive and human rights organization that fosters women's leadership, promotes gender and environmental justice, democracy, and access to sexual and reproductive health information and services for all in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
RJC works to ensure that women, adolescent girls, key populations and other vulnerable and marginalized groups can fully enjoy their rights. RJC takes a human rights-based approach, which is essential to achieving lasting social change by ensuring that no one is left behind. To do this, we work closely with communities to identify the root causes of inequality, violence and discrimination, and their impacts on health, well-being and human rights, and then together , we find lasting solutions based on fundamental principles of human rights.
RJC uses this model to equip rights holders with the knowledge to assert their rights when they are violated, as well as to build the capacity of duty bearers to better understand and fulfill their human rights obligations . We believe this will pave the way, in the long term, for an enabling environment for a thriving community where gender equality, environmental justice, and sexual and reproductive health rights are respected, protected and realized without discrimination. of any kind.
Eliminate all forms of gender-based violence, protect the environment and improve universal access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health information and services. We accomplish this mission through research, advocacy, capacity building, and public interest litigation.
A thriving community where gender equality, environmental justice, and sexual and reproductive health rights are respected, protected, and realized without discrimination.
